About Me

Hi! My name is Ben VanDonge.

One of my earliest memories is taking Mom's pots and pans from the kitchen cabinets and beating them with big wooden spoons. Ever since then, I've been a drummer.

Most of my formal learning is in jazz, concert, and marching band. On my own I've picked up almost everything else, including ska, rock, and worship. I also enjoying playing my acoustic and bass guitars.

I am currently the Associate Director of Music at the First Presbyterian Church of Walla Walla, where I lead the contemporary praise band. I graduated from Whitman College in 2009 majoring in History and minoring in Education.  I received my Master of Arts in Teaching at Walla Walla University in 2011.  I currently teach elementary school in Walla Walla.
